Sr. Software Engineer
Summary
We are looking for a senior level software engineer with Windows CE experience,
particularly with hardware interfaces and drivers. Tele-commuting is a viable
option. This position will be responsible for many of the software activities
and report to the President. Location: Sierra foothills outside Placerville.
Description
The ideal candidate is well organized and has excellent communication skills,
enjoys working in a high-energy entrepreneurial environment, is hands-on,
and should be able to work independently as well as be productive within a
team environment. The candidate chosen will be responsible for the development
of device drivers, applications, and system related software for Windows CE
and other hand-held computing environments. He/she will use both internal
and external resources. This individual should be well connected in the Microsoft
developer community and have an outstanding track record of accomplishment.
Other responsibilities will include participation in the architectural design
and development of future products and working with marketing and business
partners. The position could include some domestic travel.
Required
5+ years of programming experience in C/C++
1+ years of experience writing Windows CE software.
Experience writing device drivers
Experience writing software for other hand-held computers a plus
Education:
Bachelors degree in CS, EE or equivalent experience.
